Relaunching an iconic streetwear shoe during an already iconic event like New York Fashion Week takes uniqueness to stand out and be seen. And that is exactly what Converse wanted to do with their relaunch of basketball throwback greatness.
In collaboration with Don C, Converse reintroduced the ERX at an influencer-studded event in NYC during Fashion Week in a modern streetwear way.
From putting the product in the hands of the attendees, to the visual and physical evolution of past to present, from hardwood to mirrors and glass, and from street food to stained glass hoops, the event space was transformed to take the best of art, music, and design and spin it with the best of the street and basketball.
